This lecture will cover the unique aspects of pediatric trauma, from epidemiology and physiology that separate pediatric and adult trauma. Learn how the anatomy of a child informs the injury pattern and why mechanism matters. Learn what is meant by "falling off the cliff" when talking about pediatric shock and how to avoid it.
