This course offers a comprehensive overview of key features on the LIFEPAK 35 monitor defibrillator to assist clinicians with providing safe and effective
care to their patients.
Upon completion of this online activity, the participant should be able to:
1. Acquire a 12/15-lead ECG, use calipers, and understand STJ Insight
2. Use AED mode
3. Understand how to set and use alarms and monitor for patient trends
4. Monitor capnography
5. Understand basic device orientation
6. Use internal paddles
7. Monitor invasive pressure (IP)
8. Use the monitor/defibrillator in manual mode
9. Monitor a patient's noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP)
10. Use noninvasive pacing
11. Monitor SpO2, SpCO and SpMet
12. Use synchronized cardioversion
13. Monitor a patient's temperature
